— The Art of Travel, Alain de Botton
People don’t understand this word anymore and it’s a shame. I respect people enough not to go around and talk about what they’ve done and with whom and why. I respect people enough to not judge them in their most vulnerable state and to be there for them and empathize. I am dumbfounded at the fact that I’m beginning to lose faith in my generation. Some are so arrogant and ignorant. They don’t have an ounce of respect in them. I’m a human being and regardless of my position in relation to you, whether you’re above me or below me, I expect respect. I hope it’s not too much to ask for these days. Even among my best friends, I ask that you respect me even though we know we’ll always be there for each other and all that, please respect me and treat me the way I treat you.

This is my lady friend. We are not lovers in the night, however. Thank you for taking care of me this weekend. I’m going to say sorry for the ten thousandth time. Sorry. And thank you for stuffing me with all that good food today. I’m glad we met. dinhsane
